Welcome to the Issues Committee! The DRC is dedicated to illuminating and promoting issues that affect rural New York. We have identified broad issues including the economy, taxes, education, healthcare, energy and our environment which all have unique and challenging regional variations found in rural areas. The DRC Issues Committee role is two-fold: (1) To be an educational resource to the membership and others; (2) To work legislatively as advocates regarding specific and important rural issues. Resolutions as adopted by the DRC will be posted as they occur. Resolutions
