The DRC is committed to representing the interests and concerns of rural New Yorkers. It fulfills this purpose by enabling rural Democrats to join together to speak on behalf of rural people, compel candidates and elected officials to address rural people’s concerns and build and strengthen the Democratic Party throughout rural New York. The DRC will strive to achieve electoral success to achieve its ultimate goal, which is to enhance the economic prosperity and quality of life of rural New Yorkers.
